On being an abstract artist

Paul Ziff

pp. 155-166

Abstract

I am a painter, an abstract artist. I have been one for forty eight years: I was a painter long before I became a philosopher. I paint in oils and acrylics, watercolours and ink. As a painter, I shall try to say something about abstract art and about being an abstract artist.
