Ideology

culture obscuring itself to its people

Carl Ratner

pp. 103-141

The wealth of evidence about neoliberal society documents that neoliberal capitalism is oppressive at its core. This oppressive core is deliberately extended throughout the system of diverse cultural factors. This oppression is systemic, intentional, necessary, planned, routine, administered, ubiquitous, essential, functional, and profitable.
