Abstract
If one, in fact, uses the same term sensation to express now a simple affective modification, now a product composed of an impression, a movement, an operation, etc., is it not to be feared that the identity of expression will often serve to confuse things quite different and to confirm illusions to which we are already sufficiently inclined?
