Some features of the textual history of Marcus Aurelius' meditations
pp. 183-193
Abstract
The materials for the text of the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius Antoninus are scanty, and for this reason any investigation which may throw light on them is the more to be welcomed. Even where little or no further light is shed on the text itself, moreover, such an enquiry may have an interest of its own. In the following survey I shall omit many points which are familiar from the editions of Schenkl and Farquharson.
